Surgery 8-22-- LESS THAN ONE MONTH!!

  OK!!!!  So I have been waiting to get excited about my surgery date!!! I've been waiting til I could tell myself - "I'm having surgery in less that one month"   TODAY IS THAT DAY!!!  In less than ONE MONTH - I'll be on the LOSER'S BENCH!!!!!!    YAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! THERE, I'm ok now........ Cindy 

That time has gone fast, hasn't it.  We're all pulling for you.   Mary better watch out or you'll pass her.  Hope we'll see you at the August meeting.

That day will be here so fast!  Any possibility they will be able to move the date up for you?  How many days do you have to do the prep?  It's so much fun going to support group meetings, seeing people get smaller and smaller. Marie

Marie!!!! Hey - you must have got your computer issues fixed!!!  I go see Dr. Minasian next week so I am thinking August 22nd is pretty much it.  I will be on the prep for 15 days!!!  That will be a challenge - but I am looking forward to it.  Kinda puts some closure to all this waiting.    I really like the support meetings.   Maybe I'll see you at the next one!! Hi, Congrats!  I am having surgery on the 21st of August, I have known since the middle of June and to be less than 1 month away is sooooo exciting. Please let me know what time your surgery is so I can ask how you are doing. When do you have your Pre-Op, mine is Aug. 1 at 11:30 Lynn

Hi Lynn,

Dr. Wagner is going to do my surgery,  Dr. Farham couldn't get me in until 8-28 and that was not gonna work for me.  My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on 8-22 - so we will be in the same unit area.  Also - we have the same date for Pre-Op but my appointment is at 10:30 a.m.  We will have to look each other up!!!!! 

I feel like I've been waiting forever!!!  Tried not to get excited until I could say it was less than a month away.  Now the days will go fast!!! See Ya Soon!!! Cindy  :)

This is all so exciting isn't it?  I remember how I felt when I received my date!  You have the right attitude and all will be well. You're in my thoughts. P
