I'm Home!!!
Got home late last night. All went well. Dr. says I no longer have to take my Metformin as my suger has gone down. He watched me walk the halls at the hospital and was amazed at how well I was doing. Just a bit sore that is all...and to be expected. The night of the surgery, I remember saying to myself "what the hell did I just do?" I was so sore and out of it. I'm glad I made the decision I have made. I just uncomfortable being full of gas and all. Very pleased to be getting rid of that!! Hubby and I went to the store today. Think I kinda over did it. Will take it a bit easier tomorrow. I have walked a bit outside and around the house. Up the stairs (slowly) and down to the basement. I'm not taking anything for granted anymore. This is my new life and I'm going to take good care of it. Thanks to all of you who have supported me through this. Especially my best friend Kathy B. The worst is over...it's all down hill from here. My follow up is next week on the 26th. Hope to get the drain tube removed and onto better exercising. Talk to you all later!!
