I had surgery on July 12...the only problem I am having is that I go from dripping sweat off my neck to "cover me up" chills in a 7 minute time span...is this common?  Please help....Bonnie

remember the temp differences in the beginning Bonnie......but mostly freezing........gosh i was cold.......just couldnt seem to get warm and was so used to alwasy being hot.  One thing that you should do since you are such a recent surgery is take your temp and make sure it isnt elevated (infection)........otherwise i think it is just part of the body regrouping and moving to its "new life"  good luck!  enjoy the ride..hug rae

Bonnie,  Dr Krause did my surgery as well in 2003.  I had sweats for months and never had a fever, so who knows.  NOW...I "think"I have started menapause because I have hot flashes 50 times a day and its terrible. If it continues....call dr Krauses office

Keep a very close check on your sugar; this can cause sudden sweats as it drops!  I would call your DR and ask. Good luck, Judy R

Hi Judy...I am diabetic, so i do watch my sugar level very closely.  Thanks so much...I did speak with the doctor last night and he put me back on a hormone patch.  Hopefully this will work out because sweats are the pits!!!  thanks again.
