Fruit Cups
The first and only time I seriously dumped was 4 weeks post op I tried canned pears. I thought they were the splenda sweetened kind, but they were not. I thought I was going to die!
If you are craving fruit, throw some frozen fruit in a blender with Crystal Light and make sort of a smoothie. It will count as your liquid for the day. You could add protein powder to it too, but I didn't because it got foamy and gross. My nut cleared me to have fruit this way (as long as you're not filling up on it and not getting your protein and water) as soon as I could go to pureed food.
I know we are not supposed to have fruit yet, but I have tried a couple bites of watermellon and it was great. Watermellon just turns to fluid when you chew it and I've had it several times now. I probably shouldn't be recommending it because it is against the "rules", but I have been eating it.
