Approval, next hurdle please!
Well, this is it, Vicky called from Barix they have the approval letter in hand!!
I got one in the mail too yesterday!! IT'S REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN...............WOOHOO! Alright now, she said Dr. Pop would get my file and I should get the call mid to end of next week to schedule a date. I am fortunate I have no testing to do other than PAT's just before surgery. I hope I can get on the Aug. 8-9 days so I have a little time to practice all these little rituals...........sipping, protein, walking.......... I've been in the gym for the past 7 mos. so I'm hoping that will help............look out world and new life, here I come! 
I am so so so ready for this! I think the approval thing just won't set in until I get on the surgery schedule! ALL ADVICE WELCOME!!!

Steffanie! Congrats first of all, and I totally feel your excitement, as I am in the similiar boat right now too. However, I have my date and its not until Sept. 17! at ten am.
( I love that emoticon! lol) anyhow, I too, have been working out in the gym. my bmi is at around 40 or maybe 39 by now. I am getting more excited too. sounds like you will have yours a ways before I get in for mine! as always, support is def. here, and I will be watching for your "date"!! I know what you mean about the new you..... we will have the new us's!! I can hardly wait. ...again Congrats to you!!

Ann Congratulations Vicky, Tracey had my chart all ready for Dr. Kam, but it sat on her desk for over 2 weeks til I started to call and bug her. Just thought it might help to know that sometimes you have to push them.
I am 3 days out, the girl in the next room was also a Stephanie, we tried to walk together and chat. Everyone is very friendly and helpful on the 2nd floor. I hope you get the date you need and you sail through surgery and recovery just fine. We will be on the losers bench together!
