Good Morning to all- I will be starting my regular foods and going back to work on Monday.  Can those of you who have transitioned into normal foods give me an idea of what you bring to work for meals?  Thanks a bunch.

I have found a couple things I really like. Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Smoothies  String cheese 2% chedder cheese (1 oz individually wrapped)

Lunchable JR - Turkey, motz cheese & ritz bitz Weigh****chers Chicken Quesidillas ( sold 2 in a box, 1 is more than enough for lunch) Baby Bell cheese rounds Laughing cow cheese wedges Wheatsworth crackers Campbells soup at hand I have started adding fresh fruits in, still on soft stage veggies.

We write our own destiny.  We become what we do.

i practically lived on cottage cheese the first six months til i became lactose intolerant.  Other than that there's tuna, deviled eggs, jerky, nuts, chili, taco meat with salsa and cheese, meatballs.   If i think of any more i'll let you know Linda

Belinda,                 I ate cottage cheese and fruit alot, chicken and tuna salad with whole wheat crackers, chili and soups I tried all  the frozen meals and found everything had a red sauce, pasta or rice.  Can't a handle any of that stuff anymore.                  I am 4 years post op and still eat the same way,  Best of luck                                                          Robin

Thanks Robin, Good because I made a pot of turkey chili and froze it in rubbermaid containers.  I noticed that I don't tolerate meat unless it is put through the food processor first.  Will this pass and will I be able to eat chicken without grinding it?  Right now, it hurts my chest so bad when I eat it.  Any suggestions would help
