OT: Taxes-e filed cheaply

I just wanted to pass along a great online resource for doing your taxes, e-filing and all that stuff -- for Federal & State it's just $9.95. I have used this service now 3 years in a row and have been very satisfied. Check it out: www.taxslayer.com It will do both Federal & State, plus deductions, other incomes, etc. Just have all your paperwork. Just passing along the info in case you are looking for fast refunds. (I got mine in about 10 days last two years!) Stacey W

I've been using Taxslayer for at least 6 years. I really like it and if I have a question, I just call them up and they answer it for me (you can email too and they'll answer pretty quickly). I usually get my refunds in about 10 days too. The nice thing is they check it and if there's an error, it doesn't go through. They notify you and you can fix it and resend the return for no extra charge.

I have used turbo tax for like the past 7 or 8 years now..... I love the program and when I e-file through it I get my return pretty quick. I have my stuff all ready to file, but I am just waiting on two more forms to arrive.... We are getting a heafty return so I can't wait... Although most of it is already spoken for as usual. Maybe next year we can take a trip or something with the money instead of borrowing against it from family.... LOL.... Well, anyway, that was my two cents about taxes... sorry to ramble on... Taxslayer is the best. This will be my sixth year filing through them. I have never had any trouble and they have improved so much over the course of time. It usually takes me 20 minutes tops to file. I have never waited longer than five business days to have my money direct deposited into our account. Positive vibes Megan
