Medical Id~~~~Help
I do. I got mine from
www.creativemedicalid.com Talk to Cindy, let her know I referred you.
They are not cheap....but there are other places that offer them here on oh.com that might suit you too.
I do have a card I carry in my wallet at all times indicating I have had RNY and no NG tubes...got those from my WLS Surgeon. And Made my own.
Also, I recommend shopping around for the medical ID bracelet. It is important that medics know what to look for....on a beaded bracelet, would they think to look at it? Make sure the medic ID is big enough so they notice.

Medic Alert website is very reasonable, and has sales constantly.
http://www.medicalert.org/home/homegradient.aspx
for $50.00 I got a year membership, and bracelet. The membership includes many things as well as having my medical info available 24/7.
My bracelet has the medic alert 800 # on it as well as my membership number.
Also,
Asthma
Gastric Bypass
No Blind
N/G Tube
No NSAIDS
My surgeons office gave me a very durable credit card sized card for my wallet/purse stating the surgery, when and where.
Good luck!
Cynthia
I have a medical ID charm. I purchased it from www.creativemedicalid.com It is the 'blue enamel filled' id. I chose that one because I was able to put the following on it:
RNY 7/06
my name
NO NG TUBE W/O
SCOPE-USE ENDOSCOPY
NO NSAIDS
my drs. name
my drs. phone number
I decided on a charm because I can purchase several different bracelets and just move it from bracelet to bracelet. I'm happy with it so far. I also have a card from my surgeon which I carry in my wallet.
