I'd LOVE a Kosher board....but I'm not holding my breath Shoot, I can't keep Kosher to save my soul (literally) - but it would be nice to discuss - ramifications, ways to do it, etc. Feel free to ignore me - it's late, I'm bored and rambling

Tell me about it, lol. My brother is a Cantor in NY. Although, I don't think he and his wife keep Kosher at home anymore, they used to be very strict Kosher. Did I mention he is a post-op GB patient? Belong on the Jewish board huh. Um, interesting.

Very well said Jay. Though I am not of Jewish heritage I of know many who are and indeed it is as much a cultural thing as it is religious. There are many things cool about each cultural group and I personally encourage each to keep their uniqueness while also assimilating into whatever the definition of being an American is. THAT too seems to change all the time.

lol it gets better! Religion & Spirituality » Astrology » Atheism/Agnostic » Christianity » Islam » Judaism » Meditation » Mormonism » Occult » Pagan » Tarot » Wiccan I have never understood how come there is a Judaism board AND a Jewish board. And never got why or how they were categorized. That happened long before the current Member Services dept. came to be. For example, why is dating considered under recreation along with bowling and fishing (well the fishing and dating - I see the connection there) but why aren't they under sports? Even dating could be a sport lol. http://obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/member-interests.php?HideSubs= I would like to add that most of these were added at member request - and most are being revamped, done away with, improved, etc. slowly over time. But it's not a high priority. Sooo....for now, we can all just wonder what WERE they thinking
