Looking back at your WLS surgery, and for those who are pre - op, your diet struggles, what CARNIVAL ride (ie., rollercoaster, tilt-o-whirl, bumper cars...etc) would you say your journey has been like? 2. What song have you been singing lately that you can't get out of your head? Artist & Song & album if possible: 3. Do you have magazine subscriptions: What magazine(s)? 4. Do you have bird feeders at your residence and what kinds of birds do you get? (feel free to elaborate on kinds of feeders, etc) 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? (specifics such as name of rest., item ordered, location) **********************here's mine: 1. FOR WLS: rollercoaster. twin racers from King's island in Cinci OH., I have up days and down days and have since day 1 but I'd do it again in a minute to be where I am today. At least they have dramamine!!! (for those who ) 2. What song have you been singing lately that you can't get out of your head? Artist & Song & album if possible: Richard Marx, Fools Game, Flesh & Bone CD ....I listen to it over and over and sing it over and over ..........reminds me of Joe. 3. Do you have magazine subscriptions: What magazine(s)? Equus, (equestrian/horse related) and Readers Digest. 4. Do you have bird feeders at your residence and what kinds of birds do you get? (feel free to elaborate on kinds of feeders, etc) 2, one on each side of my patio. I get a pair of Cardinals (m/f), chicakees, Blue Jays, a squirrel, sparrows, nuthatches, and a plethera of others I don't recognize but adore watching. I love to watch the Cardinals....I have had the same pair I believe 2 years in a row. 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? (specifics such as name of rest., item ordered, location) Just one? hmmmmmm............Grand Traverse Pie Co.,(Mt. Pleasant) --- I order their Gourmet Chicken Salad Sandwich. Other fav place is Logan's Roadhouse in Midland (burgers/steaks) and Outback Steakhouse in either Saginaw/Grand rapids: Always the Outback Special Steak. It's BONZER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Bumper cars. I'm moving right along and then slam, heart problems, slam foamies, slam, got a job, slam, heart again, slam tried to eat an egg, slam iron is low, slam clothes fall off. But as I lose more, the bumps aren't so hard to take. And some of them are good bumps. 2. Tomorrow, from Annie. I dunno why. 3. Nope. 4. Juncos, chickadees, mourning dove, sparrows so far today. Downy woodpecker usually stops by for the suet cake. I try to spread out some seed on the deck so it helps with traction for me as well. The fox squirrel helps with any excess seed. 5. Anywhere with good, not-too-salty cheap steak or a good cheeseburger (no bun) or edible liver & onions. I'm partial to places with smaller carryout boxes so I don't try to take the potato or lose too much space in the fridge.

The rollercoaster for sure. With all of the surgeries that I keep having to have...enough is enough already. 2. What song have you been singing lately that you can't get out of your head? Artist & Song & album if possible: Spoon "I Turn My Camera On" It's on the Gimme Fiction Album (2005) 3. Do you have magazine subscriptions: What magazine(s)? Lucky, Gourmet, Bon Appetit....I think that's it. 4. Do you have bird feeders at your residence and what kinds of birds do you get? (feel free to elaborate on kinds of feeders, etc) No, no bird feeders. Honestly, I have not seen many birds. 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? (specifics such as name of rest., item ordered, location) Now this is a hard one. I love food so I have tons of favorite restaurants that I like to eat at. When I am visiting the Detroit area I love to go to Lelli's. I normally order filet or surf & turf. Now that is hysterical to watch me trying to eat all the food they bring. Never happens, but I still go. I also used to love going to this little sushi restaurant in Royal Oak (I think it's called Little Tree). Mmmm....I love my sushi. I usually ordered eel or the standard california roll. I get various things. I tend to like the cooked sushi versus eating sashimi. Since I now live in Traverse City, I miss lots of the restaurants in my home town. I miss my deli and I miss my bagels and my coney island. However, there are a few decent restaurants in this area. I love going to Trattoria Stella's. Their menu changes daily so I don't order the same thing when I go. They make the best scallops.

Well thus far it's been kinda like the Tower of Terror, nice and slow- then a slam down. Things are good and then a big upset (usually family health or such) and it puts me in a spin and THEN I have to realize I can't eat it away. Yoga has been a helpful friend! 2. What song have you been singing lately that you can't get out of your head? Artist & Song & album if possible: Someday- on the Celtic Women album, and the Theme Song to Thomas the Tank Engine (yes I have a 3 year old) 3. Do you have magazine subscriptions: What magazine(s)? Nope - I read like a bandit but books or textbooks (statistics ugh!) but no magazines. 4. Do you have bird feeders at your residence and what kinds of birds do you get? (feel free to elaborate on kinds of feeders, etc) Nope- but at my mom's (the whopping mile away) she has quite a few and gets the prettiest blue jays and cardinals. And then of course the squirrels! 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? (specifics such as name of rest., item ordered, location) Bada West- Deboned chicken, fatush salad and jasmine rice (which yea give me a few months!), Sagano's- SUSHI! It's the best I have found around here.

1. What Carnival ride?........ The fastest coaster on the lot! It just seems like it was on the top speed the whole time! This is funny, cuz I HATE roller coasters (heights in general), but it is a good analogy. 2. What song have you been singing lately?...... The girls at work want to KILL me! Lately it's been "People" by Barbra Streisand. I have no idea why! I believe there is a song for every word in the dictionary! I mean it! Someone will say something, and I'm singing a song about it! Crazy! 3. Do you have magazine subscriptions: What magazine(s)?.............. Used to have People and Us, but just have Woman's Day now. Would like to have Redbook though. People and Us are just too expensive these days. 4. Do you have bird feeders?........... No, although I love birds! 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order?....... I also love to eat out...it's nice cuz you know you are going to have leftovers for other meals! Chinese is a fav, but also there is a restaurant here in town called G's Pizzeria, and I love their grilled chicken salad...they have the BEST ranch dressing....that's what I have to watch! But salad doesn't keep well for leftobers.

Do you have bird feeders at your residence and what kinds of birds do you get? (feel free to elaborate on kinds of feeders, etc) I used to have a bird feeder in my backyard but everytime I let the dogs out they would tear right too it trying to eat the birds and squirrels. Didnt help I would tell them "get the birdies" LOL 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? (specifics such as name of rest., item ordered, location) I dont normally eat out much but if we do go out its Outback and I eat off hubbys plate....prime rib..yum

1. what CARNIVAL ride.......Probably the Matterhorn...you know that oval shaped kind of sissy ride? It's just been a little bit up and down, but nothing too crazy or exciting. 2. What song have you been singing lately: It takes Two by Rob Base. It's the only rap song I know all of the words to so I sing it all the time. 3. What magazine(s)? Exceptional Parent, Everyday Food, Real Simple, Glamour, Hallmark and I buy a People every week at the grocery store. 4. Do you have bird feeders at your residence? Nope, I have pigeons from my crazy neighbor and they poop all over everything...so no feeders in our yard. 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? I love to eat out because I want someone to wait on me and I hate doing dishes! Not much sits well with me, but I just had grilled chicken at Logan's Roadhouse and it was pretty good.

THE RAPTOR!!! Just when you think you can hang on something comes along and turns you upside down! (which by the way I went to Cedar Pointe this year and ha ha ha ha ha I FIT IN THE SEATS!!) 2. What song have you been singing lately that you can't get out of your head? Artist & Song & album if possible: Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake CD? what are those?? I download!! Its on a Jill's Grooves CD!!! 3. Do you have magazine subscriptions: What magazine(s)? W and Gourmet -- I used to get a few others but since the divorce thing I go to Barnes and Noble and read for free!! with a cup of coffee!! 4. Do you have bird feeders at your residence and what kinds of birds do you get? (feel free to elaborate on kinds of feeders, etc) I don't have feeders but my neighbor does, I simply put out the crusts from whole grain seeded bread and watch the chickadees and nuthatches flock over to pick the seeds out then the pigeons come by for the fluffy stuff. 5. Favorite place to eat and what do you normally order? (specifics such as name of rest., item ordered, location) I used to love Bucci in Grosse Pointe but can't afford to go there now I miss watching the chef prepare my meal right in front of me, normally I would just get the seafood trio. I love Chanosos in Windsor, it happens to be a place where I hang out with my best girl friend in my life, oops I forgot he is not a girl he's just gay!!
