OT: HOW MUCH DID YOU GET???
Welcome to Michigan Winter. Where snow falls even in April and May, and as early as September.
QUESTION FOR THE DAY: "how much snow did you get in your area?"
My answer: Central MI got about 4-5 inches, and it's snowing as I type this. I don't mind the snow at all. Having a SUV/4wd vehicle, and working 1.2 miles away, it's times like these I worry about others who have further to go and those who don't have a 4wd or worse.
Stay warm, take extra blankets, water, a candle in a coffee can(this helps bring heat into the vehicle) a flashlight and emergency kit. Hugs to all in this wintery white crap!!!

we got NONE!! We got the ice though, and they say it's going to get very windy tonight. My tree in the front (box elder) which is very big, is about to fall. The branches are hanging almost to the ground and keep getting lower. It's on city property, so hopefully they will clean it up, but i'm sure if it does get windy, it'll be gone tonight. It's a nice tree, makes lots of shade for us. Anyway supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow but less than an inch. The ice is pretty, looks like crystal, but scarey to drive in.....supposed to be much worse tomorrow. I called in sick today, didn't want to deal with it.....i'm off tomorrow too for a procedure on my daughter.
I've got the batteries and candles ready, power lines are getting low and will probably go out......
Hugs
