11 wks post op TT/Saw Dr DiNick today......
I'm 11 weeks post op abdominoplasty as of yesterday the 12th. Been an interesting ride. Kind of weird but I'm hanging in there -- thanks to all of you. 
I had my 11 week post op appointment with Dr. DiNick today down at Barix/Forest Health. I have a few things I'd like to say about my appointment and appointments in general with Dr. DiNick as a heads up.
First, I'm healing wonderfully he said. He removed a little tissue today that was in the way of proper healing taking place, and sent me on my merry way, with a return visit Feb 10, 2007.
Second, a sheer pleasure to meet Carey Poisson's husband, who was there when I came out. Talk about a TALL family!!! WOW. Great family photos were shared today too! Carey, you have a beautiful family.
Also we took a couple shots together of us for my profile --which will be posted a bit later.
Now..........on appointments with Dr. DiNick:
It is my recommendation that you:
1. Be prepared to know what you want him to do.
2. Be prepared to wait, and know that HE is worth the time it takes.
3. Be prepared to wait longer than normal. Be prepared by taking a book , friends to talk with, magazine, mp3 player, snacks, whatever it is you need to be comfortable while you wait.
4. Know that Dr. DiNick takes time with EACH of his patients to fully understand your needs, and goals. Plus, he makes each appointment unique in doing so, therefore, there is NO way to indicate just how long you might wait.
5. Understand that this man/surgeon/doctor, is extremely booked up and at times, backed up as well. I REITERATE:::HE IS WORTH THE WAIT.
From my personal experience, it is worth weight in gold to see him.
And I wouldn't say that if it were not true.
Again, if you are not sure, please contact his office for questions, and talk with Carey. They do the best they can, and in the end, the results are incomperable to anyone else that I have met/dealth with.
