I am 5 days post op - I am on clear liquids - still having water Diarrhea - I hope this is normal - also my stomach hurts alot

I had it for a couple of weeks.... I never went to far from the bathroom..... If you are concerned though I would contact your doctor for answers... I don't know what kind of stomach pain you are talking about... could it be gas... if you are not sure then again, contact your doctor.... They are really the only one that can answer your questions. Thanks for the info - I did call my Dr. too - he said it can be normal for some.

Hi Julie, The diarrhea is normal, usally last a few days to a few weeks. Not sure about the pain in your stomach. Most likely it is gas, but i would call the doctor and explain where the pain is and see what he thinks. I had thr micro pouch(open) w/ Dr. wood in April.06. Good luck to you. "I am 5 days post op" + "my stomach hurts alot" = GET TO THE DR. A.S.A.P.!!! I learned the hard way not to let pain go. If you can't get in to see your surgeon then get yourself to the E.R. I had pain and let it go until I couldn't take it anymore. ****************** I ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF IT! ******************* I'm not trying to scare you but ~pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong.
