What protein product do you use and what do you mix it with? I am VERY picky but I really need to start up my protein. I don't tolerate milk well at all. I have NO FAT with my cereal when I have it but thats about. Thanks for any ideas. I love my coffee and would love to be able to add something to that. I love the taste of French Vanilla so if I could find something like that to add with my coffee, it would make me VERY happy.

I use ANY WHEY unflavored Protein in my coffee................and I add about 2 scoops -- plus my splenda and cream. I also use GNC's Nature's Best Isolate Clear Whey Protein pre-made in Glass 20ounce bottles 40 gms protein in multiple flavors. Those are my two choices.......and protein bars. I get Any Whey either at Barix or GNC Stacey W

Thanks Stacey for coming back to me. I just HATE protein drinks. Being 3.5 years out I still have not liked any and wondered if anyone knew of something new. I might just try the unjury that everyone is raving about.

I use beneprotein when I make pudding but some folks are singing praises about unjury. I get whatever is on sale one scoop to milk for 20 - 25 grams no sugar. I eat pure protein bars for the taste and the gas. kp

Wish I could find one that had more than 20 grams and that would actually stir up and disolve. Do you even need protein bars to produce gas???

Matrix chocolate and vanilla fit your description. They're made by Syntrax who also makes the Nectars. They are light and mix the easiest of any i've seen and one scoop is 23grams of protein. They also taste pretty dang good for a protein drink and the chocolate is awesome warm and the vanilla is great mixed with cold coffee. I use a ****tail mixer to mix em up but you can get by with just a spoon. Isopure zero carb powders are not bad, one scoop is 25grams of protein (the directions tell you to use 2 scoops but just use one and make a smaller drink as you can't absorb 50grams at once). For these i have to use the ****tail shaker but others have sworn to me that you can get by with just a spoon mix.

Thanks Jay! Yeah the worse things with protein dinks is that you can't get the stuff to disolve and when I drink somrthing I don't want to have to chew it first. Have a good one!

i know what you mean! and if you put it in a blender there's too much air blended into it and it will make you burp. Here's what works for me... a ****tail shaker with a few ice cubes in it. The ice works to to grind up the powder and make it nice and cold and then the strainer in the shaker removes the ice. This way it's cold, it's thoroughly shaken with little air and it's a small drink (rather than crushing up all that ice into the drink in a blender).

Hi Tami, I mix 1 scoop of any whey flavorless protein powder and 1 packet of hot cocoa (dutch chocolate from kroger 3 grm. sugar 0 fat) with just a little bit of warm water to disolve it then I fill er up with my coffee YUMMY : ) I also get a sugar free/ fat free cafe mocha latte from the coffee ******y and will add a scoop of any whey protein powder to that and stir very well, I have to wait for it to cool down to just warm or the protein will clump up. It does make for a tasty healthy cup 'o joe though. Hope you find something that will work for you God bless you, Annette
