Anyone with Great Lakes Health?

Hey guys... I haven't been around much lately, but I was wondering if anyone has Great Lakes Health, I applied and was denied approval in November, because of the lack of 12 months doctor supervised dieting, so I my appeal in December, now the appeal I did myself and bypassed the clinic that I am having my surgery through, because I was having a hard tiime getting an appointment with my PCP, and they wanted me to include another letter from my doctor...anyhoo...GLHP sent me a letter stating that they have recieved my appeal and that some type of meeting will be taking place today actually and that I can attend or participate by phone. What I would like to know is if anyone has had any experience with GLHP and the appeal process? Also, I would like to know if there are any tips for dealing with them??

I HAVE GREATLAKES, AND I WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING I WAS DENIED THE FIRST TIME AROUND, BUT I FOOD DIARIES FROM LA WEIGHT LOSS CENTER AND I SENT IN BLOWN-UP PHOTOS OF MYSELF AND WITH MY FAMILY PHOTOS FROM AS FAR BACK AS 10 YEARS AGO, SO THEY COULD SEE JUST HOW LONG I'VE BEEN OBESE, I EVEN TYPED UP A MEDICAL NECSITY LETTER FOR MY PCP TO SIGN, I WROTE MY OWN HEART-FELT LETTER TO THE APPEAL BOARD, SENT IN A WEIGHT CHART, HEALTH CLUB RECEIPTS,AND 12 DAYS LATER I WAS APPROVED. lula, hi, its barbara brown, i lost your email address i changed to wow and my daughter said i wouldn't but i did. i don't know anything about computers. how are you? i haven't been on the computer much. family problems or should i say daughter. well i am doing pretty good i have lost 63lbs now. i still can't eat meat it makes me sick. i pretty much stick to protein shakes. please let me know how you are doing. my new email address is [email protected] take care and i hope to hear from you soon. barb

Thanks sweetie!!! I need all the encouragement I can get right now! I went to my PCP today and found out I've had a weight gain of roughly 15lbs....depressing!!
