Okay, Did I miss something????

I recieved a phone call a little while ago and was told that Cori Centers closed its doors as of 1/1/07.....Has anyone else heard this? This info was from a pretty reliable source, so I am assuming it is true. But I don't want to spread any unconfirmed rumors. If you know something and don't want to post it please email me privately. Hi Michelle, Thanks for the idea. I did go there and check, but nothing. It doesn't look like the site has been updated in quite a while. There are at least 3 surgeons listed that I know of That haven't been with Cori for some time now. So who Knows!!! ...Toni

Thats the word on the streets! Interesting hey!!!! Gotta find me a new surgeon now and get my charts somehow. You would think they would send out a letter telling us how to get our charts.

So you heard the same thing? I want my records also. I hope they will be there for the newbies. It doesn't suprise me that they didn't/don't. I wonder if they are just closing there doors to reorganize under a new name, because of there poor rep. Oh well who knows! Let me know what you hear.----Toni

I called them about two weeks ago to have my records transferred. they faxed me a release and they did transfer them the next day. So give them a call---hopefully they will respond as quickly to you. Jane

I called the office the week between Christmas and New Years to find out the support group meeting schedule and they told me they didn't have one for January yet because the Docs were off the first two weeks and the office would be closed. At the same time I confirmed my appointment on the 26th because I lost the card with the time on it. I think if they were closing shop they would have said something then Hopefully it is just a rumor that holds no truth. I have an appt on Monday at the CORI center with Dr. Taylor. I got a call on Thursday from them to reschedule my appt. for Friday. I will all let you know on Monday I guess??
