Vitamins
Well I know Ive needed to start on vitamins for quite some time, but just havent been motivated to do so. With everything feeling as though there falling in place for WLS. I need to start on some type of vitamins.
Can you fine folks reccomend what kind of vitamin I need. Just a regular over the counter vitamin? What types of vitamins should I look for to be included in a Multi vitamin?
Thanks,
BT
I ALWAYS USED CENTRUM A-Z BEFORE WLS. THEN AFTER WLS I WAS TOLD TO TAKE FLINTSTONE CHEWABLES WITH IRON AND THEN I WAS PUT ON PRENATAL VITAMINS WHICH I AM NOW TAKING EVERYDAY. NEXT WEEK I HAVE TO HAVE BLOOD TESTS AND THEN ON THE 18TH I GO FOR MY 3 MONTH CHECKUP AT MMPC AND SEE HOW I AM DOING AND IF I NEED ANYTHING ELSE TO TAKE.

Stacey,
Thanks for the information. I will keep those in mind for when I am post op. I guess in the mean time I will try Judys suggestion of Centrum A-Z..
Was Carey able to help you with those snacks you were looking for? I was thinking with her working at Barix, she would be more than happy to help.

Elmo huh? I love Elmo! But does he have anything to do with "BT"? You realize I will not stop bugging you until I find out.
I take Shaklee vitamins. I take a liquid multi w/ iron. I also take the Shaklee vit c, B complex, zinc and biotin and my calcium chews. I also take a subligual b-12 about 1 or 2x a week. Shaklee is not something you can buy in the stores. They are very good vitamins. No sugars, no preservatives - no junk in them. I know they are expensive though - but I only have one body so I try to take care of it.
Take care,
Carey
