Anyone have any experience with Dr. Kam, Barix Clinic, Ann Arbor????

I sent up an appointment today at the Barix Clinic in Ann Arbor. I am to see Dr. Kam on January 15th. Anyone here have any experience with him? Any questions I need to make sure I ask? Thanks to everyone for answering all my posts. I'm still learning on this board so I hope I don't step on any toes here. Thank you Cynthia for suggesting I make this a new thread! :wave:

There are ALOT of us who are on the Ontario board who have had surgery with Barix. I have not had Dr. Kam personally, but I highly recommend Barix. I had surgery with Dr. Pop in July. I have heard nothing but great things on the Ontario board about all the doctors at Barix (Pop, Schram and Kam). Feel free to pop by our board and post the same inquiry, as I'm sure you'll get some good feedback. Dawn

I loved Dr. Kam, I went to Barix, but there was an issue with my insurance, I was not informed of this when I went to the center for a consult. I left a stronged worded service evaluation form with them after this. Dr. Kam called me personally to apologize for the inconivience and even asked to apologize to me personally. He was extremely nice, personable, and the facilities were clean and there were alot of people there I met working who had had the surgery which is always a good sign. Sadly, I was unable to work with them due to insurance issues, so I went someplace else. But I would have had it done in a heart beat if I could of. -Tiarra

Dr. Kam did my surgery in September and my mom's in October. I would HIGHLY recommend him!!! My mom and I are both nurses and have very high expectations for the healthcare we receive. We both received excellent care before, during and now after our surgeries. Feel free to email me if you have more specific questions you would like to ask.

Dr. Kam was my surgeon and he is very personable, friendly and very knowledgeable. He phoned me, too, personally, after the surgery and was a tremendous help. He seems to truly care about each person. God Bless, Stephanie
