Hubby got very bad news yesterday !
He went to the dentist for a routine 6mth cleaning and found out that he has mouth cancer ! He chews tobacco and has for many yrs even tho I have told him countless times to quit ! And now this? I am so sad, so scared, so..... I just don't know what to do or say. He didn't know his biological father and biological grandfather but he knows they both died by the age of 40 (hubby is 33) so that scares me even more ! I keep saying God only gives you as much as you can handle but I really wonder. Thanks for letting me vent my fears

Thank you everyone for your kind words ! ! It really means alot to me especially since you all don't know me very well. Yes I have been researching it ALOT and from the pics of his mouth that I saw and the ones on the internet, it doesn't look nearly as bad as it definitely could be. We don't know anything for sure, but he has his biopsy's (sp?) on Wed (1/10) and that will obviously tell us what is going on. So now that the shock of this is starting to set it, i'm going to just stay positive and say lots of prayers that this was just a scare tactic for Jeff to stop chewing ! ! Thanks again everyone ! ~~Rona
Rona,
Please know that your husband and your family are in my prayers during this very unsetteling time. You would be amazed at the power of prayer this board has. I remember when I had my surgery, The week prior I was sooo scared, I asked for prayer for strength to face this surgery as well as for my surgery itself. I was so afraid I would have a panic attack and not have surgery, Well the Lord heard each and every prayer of my dear friends on this board as well as my family and friends. I was so amazed the day of my surgery, I kept waiting to get scared and have a panic attack, but amazingly it NEVER happened. I felt such a sense of peace, I could honestly feel the prayers. It was sooo incredible! When 2or3 come together........ God Bless-----Toni
