I had a visit with my rehab counselor and I have been referred to a company that helps to place disabled people in jobs. They may call in the next day or two. I got a laptop for Christmas. Oh, and Dad ordered DSL (up, coming out of the dial-up age!) and we should get the stuff tomorrow. I would like to lose about 10 more lbs before I start really considering plastic surgery. I'm being realistic and know that I probably won't lose a lot - no more than 10lbs.

hey KP, Well, things are still a mess around here. The divorce was to be final on the 12th of December but he wouldn't agree to anything so now we go to trial on the 31st of Jan. He now has written up a proposal and wants me to sign on the dotted line but his proposal stinks!! So, we will go to trial. I guess he is moving here to Freeland soon so he can actually be a parent to his children and now he is filling their heads with the notion that they can come and live with him. It will never happen as long as I am home with them. Thank God for the daycare!! School starts back up again on the 7th for me. Enjoying the break for now. I have gotten all "A's" so far!!! I have two classes this time so more time and work but I will prevail!! Please keep me in your prayers as I pray for all of you every day. Sorry I haven't posted much, too much going on. Well, I met my goal of weighing under 200 by the New Year. This was the EASIEST holiday season I've ever lived through - - I work in a huge medical practice and we get all kinds of candy, cookies, baked goods, gift baskets, you name it, and none of it tempted me at all. I still have the FEAR and I don't want to lose it!! Another one of my goals has been to not puke and I've made that one so far too, LOL. Yeah, life is good.

Hi Kevin, I miss ya! Sent my second of 4 sons off to the military, and that is hard. I am starting the process for my abdominoplasty for the second time next week. I maintained my weight over the holiday (and the last 16 months). I still am going to school full time as well as working full time, and my goal is to pass my last chemistry class this semester. Hope all is well. E-mail me sometime. Carol

My nephew is coming to town today (picking him up in Cedar Springs) for 3 days, and we'll play with the horses and bowling, ice skating (him-not me) and probably a few movies. He's 7. resides in Kalamazoo. And also I am offering to teach him how to make that HUGE bread I made for Christmas - or Chocolate Chip cookies from scratch (to take to his family) ......an idea for something for "us" to do together. And Mom leaves Jan 14 for Mazatlan Mexico - returning April 3, 2007 so keep happy thoughts for her her flight connects in "DENVER"............ And next appt with Dr DiNick is Jan 13th 2007 to see how we are healing. Hopefully this finds YOU amazingly wonderful, happy and musically bound in excellence!!!!!!!!! Stacey W

Hello. My date is final jan 8,after 2 reschedules. Had 2 get more tests and med release from hemotoligist due to elevated wbc that I had for 15 yrs, I wasn't pleased with that dr letter, its now 1/5 with 3 days to go, so I hope Dr. Taylor at cori accepts it, very nervous right now, pray for me
