WASHINGTON -- Mail service will be suspended Tuesday, the U.S. Postal Service announced. President Bush has ordered federal agencies to close that day out of respect for the memory of former President Gerald R. Ford. The post office said there will be no regular mail deliveries or retail service at offices. Normal mail service will resume Wednesday, Jan. 3. Stacey W

Although this is a solemn occasion, (and I am apologizing for being so "happy" ahead of time) I can't help but because I work in a governmental office and we also were given the day off because of this sad event. So, a 4 day weekend for me again, two weeks in a row! But on a serious note, God Bless Gerald R. Ford. Hugs, Theresa

If I weren't working, I have a good friend who lives a block from the church where the funeral will take place, and she asked me to come down and sit on her front porch and watch the procession. But I have to work and can't take time off. Rest in peace Former President Gerald R Ford, Grand Rapids awaits your return home. Stacey W
