Is anyone interested in a picnic one weekend this summer in Big Rapids

I would love to come too---I have no idea where Big Rapids is but thats what maps are for!!!! July or Aug sounds good to me also Sat better than Sun since I think its a little ride for me. marie k (sub of Detroit)

Marie, Big Rapids is about 3 hours from us, I think. You would think with us being near the major hospitals, there would be more get togethers around here. They always seem to be around Grand Rapids or Up North.

I'll come if I can. I"m always looking for an excuese to visit my dad in Grandville. Now I know this won't be popular but the weekend before or after the fourth of July would be great for me. Then I can manage to get home for the "Old Fashioned Fourth" celebration. Also, for anyone in the are we could plan on watching the parade from the front yard of my Dad's place. Parade goes right by it. And I can get a big shelter to protect us from the sun. Jeanne

I hope to be able to pick a date on Wednesday at our support group meeting. I have to reserve it now because July/August dates go very quickly. I wonder if my boss will give me a discount on the rental, lol.
