Is anyone interested in a picnic one weekend this summer in Big Rapids

Starting next Wednesday, I'll be taking reservations for our park shelter. I thought maybe if you were interested, we could set up a Saturday or Sunday to have a pot luck picnic. Hemlock Park in Big Rapids has paved walking/biking trails, a playscape, fishing, horseshoes, tennis court and best of all, a pavilion so if it's a bit wet, we won't be. What do you think? Are any of you up for it? If so, then I need a date so that I can make the reservation.

Hi Ann! I would be interested in a get together. I wasn't sure how far Big Rapids was from my house and it is only about an hour! I would love the chance to meet some of you! Let me know if you plan one ok. I would need directions because I have never been to Big Rapids before. Thanks! Di

I'd love to come, however I can never tell what I'll be working. So all I can say is plan it and if I can come I will. My job is a weird broadcasting thing where I don't work M-F like most. Kinda sucks not being able to plan ahead but if I know when then maybe I can take a personal day and come over. Big Rapids isn't that far from me. Question, can I bring a horse? (kidding) Thanks! Hi Ann! Great idea! If I can, I will be there will bells on! I always love meeting everyone....haven't been to a big get together since Jen Allen's BBQ two years ago... As far as dates go, I have found out from planning many things myself that one day will never suit everyone...it's just impossible. Pick one and we will be there if at all possible!! But since you asked...Sundays are always better for me, but go with the majority! Hugs, Theresa

Like Theresa said, so many of us have so many things going on and it's just best to pick a date that is out there and make the invite known. A thought, is to pick three dates, and let people cast their vote on which one they can come. That might narrow down a good date. Just a though. SW 310/142 2lbs to goal ---OMG
