ONE STEP CLOSER

I had my meeting with the shrink today it was very insightful....... as I layed back on the sofa and he ask questions about my child hood and blamed everything on my parents haha .. NO really he did not have a sofa however we did talk about my childhood and the rest of my life of being a roubenesque(sp) woman. He asked me why I thought I could not lose the wt... I told him after many yrs of loseing 40-60lbs and then not being able to budge the scale any more I don't know why I know oprah always says theres a reason but for the life of me i can't fugure it out. I have done everything I set my mind to but I can't lose the wt. He said alright sit back and I'll be oprah, he then told me I have a disease call obesity and sometimes to tx diseases you can take meds or have sugery. aha I have been feeling like a failure and maybe I don't have to anymore. It has really helped me and put my mind at ease about the decision to have sugery. my test question was if DR P where to do this sugery and tell me that it will stop my ankles, back, shoulders and joints from hurting that it will give me a good nights sleep that it will give me the energy to run,play with my children and improve the quality of the rest of my life but I would never lose a pound would i still have the sugery. There was no thought the answer is YES!!!! So all in all I gained some great insight and learned another life lesson. Jenny B Wise
