First I want to start this post off with some GREAT news and make you all some of the first to know.... I just accepted a new position with The Midland Area Chamber of Commerce as the Membership Development Director. I "unofficially" start January 10th and "officially" start January 15th. I am excited to take on this new opportunity and challenge. The biggest change for me and my family however is that this position (unlike Real Estate) is a full time opportunity. It is for that reason that I am writing to all of you. I am looking for advise, referrals and/ or ideas regarding finding a Part Time nanny for the kids. Below is a brief write up of what we are looking for.. if you know anyone who might be interested in this type of work I'd love for you to put us in contact with each other. Thank you all so much in advance for any and all help you can offer! ************************************************************** Part Time Nanny Needed! Please have own transportation and be willing to submit to a driving and background check. Hours needed are M/W/F 3-5:30pm & T/TH 11:45am-5:30pm. Duties include picking up children from Schools, transporting children to after school activities, supervising homework and and possibly starting dinner (It would really just be putting a pre-made meal in the oven.) The children are ages 5, 7 and 9. Please forward resume, references, salary requirements (WE offer fair, reasonable and competitive wages!) and any other pertinent information.. or give us a call to discuss further. Erin, I wanted to say congratulations on your new career!!! It sounds like you are excited and a great opportunity. I dont, however, have any ideas for childcare - it is the most difficult thing to juggle and I wish you all the luck. Your ad sounds great; one thought,: are you sure you want people to call you before you can screen their resumes? Best of luck, keep us posted!!! Kathryn

Hey Katheryn! Unfortunately my timetable is so crunched right now I don;t have time to pre-screen resumes. I called our "old" nanny to see if she would fill in temporarily for a few weeks to buy me some more time hopefully she will and then I can do a better job at this.... Ugh! Erin
