I know!!!!! Being on the loseing side is all I seam to think about. when I got busy for the holidays i wasn't as bad but here it is the day after and I'm right back at it I can't seam to get off this site. By the way I went to a new site to look it had good info on vits and protein www.vitalady.com also www.vitaman.com check it out. To the BIG LOSERS out there keep inspiring me..... Here's what I don't understand.......
I have lost about 107 lbs. since March. Most everyone in the world knows I have had surgery, so I would think that when they see me they would expect me, only a bit smaller.
I have had lots of people say they don't even recognize me. I've had some of my cub scout moms walk right past me, and say they didn't know it was me. Now, I am happy with the weight loss, and I know parts of me are smaller....but I just don't believe that you are unrecognizable after surgery. Has anyone else had this happen?
First....... oh yes I love seeing those before and after pics ! They are such a great inspiration. And Brenda, congrats on the 107lbs ! But yes I can understand them not recognizing you. You lost a whole person just about ! I am sure that would change some of your features and if your self esteem changed then that would disguise you as well. People may remember you as being more quiet, etc.... anyways, I would take that as a compliment but thats jmo. On the flip side I have a pic of myself when I was at my thinnest (4yrs ago and only that thin due to dangerous diet tactics!) and I have people see that pic and can't believe it's me. I think it's great girl ! ~~Rona
