I have been suffering from upper right quadrant pain for the last couple of months and I do not have my gallbladder I already had that taken out. So anyone who had a hernia could I have a hernia because it hurts when eat, move around, or anything, I do not feel a bulge so I am perplexed. I have a ultrasound sceduled in Jan but the pain is getting worse. Thanks Tricia

I'd call the Dr. and see how soon they can take a look at you. Hernia's are nothing to mess with. Call them today! SW

I already went to the doctor on Monday and they have scheduled for a ultrasound after the Holidays. The doc could not feel a bulg so he is not sure if it is a hernia or not so that is why I am having the test done. I am hoping it is not a hernia but it hurts like you know what. Thanks for the support. If it is a hernia I am probally going to have it done in TC with a new surgeon and not travel to GR Tricia

I agree with Stacey...Call your dr right away and see what he/she says to do. A hernia is nothing to fool around with. Keep me posted what happens. Hugs Judy

Tricia: Since you had surgery again not so long ago, I would suspect that it could be adhesions. They would have to go in and release them. My mom had them after having abdomenal surgery and it twisted the intestines. I think they did a CT scan to find it. If you're really hurting, get into the ER and have them check things out. Hope that helps some. Pam
