Proud Moment!!
Today we had our Christmas Luncheon; whic,h in the past was a really big deal. All of the food. There are 11 of us making all of this food. (Cheesy Potatoes, Meatballs, Shrimp, Dips and a vast array of side salads and desserts) But today it was not so bad. I started by getting a small plate, looking over everything on the "Menu" and made wise choices. I didn't take anything I wasn't supposed to. I made sure I picked things high in protein. I didn't have any desserts. I had a moment, shed a tear and went on with lunch. I feel like I have broken the cycle. Like the addiction is over. I've been this person for 32 years and it has been so hard to change. No diet ever helped but this has been the most wonderful thing in the world. Thank the Lord for Dr. Zeni. He's the best!
