On my way now...

Well I have been thinking long and hard about WLS, but as some may already know, my present insurance doesnt cover WLS. Today I took the first step towards WLS, and signed up for medical insurance that will cover the procedure. I have appointments with 2 different surgeons on Dec 16th and Dec 21st. I have my sleep apnea study scheduled for Dec 20th. That's in addition to already having attended a informational seminar with a local surgeon, and even have a surgery consult scheduled with that surgeon for Jan 8th. Everything seems to be going forward at a good pace. I hope that things continue to go forward at a good pace so I can have the surgery late winter, since there isnt much going on that time of the year. If all goes well I should be looking GREAT for my 20th High Reunion... Thanks to all who have given me information and guidance. (Carey)... Curt

Thanks Curt. This surgery has done so much for me, i love to help others make it come true. to date i've lost 205 pounds and feel wonderul, you just couldn't imagine the difference or how the difference changes your life. Not only am i cute now, LOL, i'm fun too. Hugs Linda
