Surgery is over and I'm home!!!!! 4 days post-op

Hello OH, and what a difference a few days make. Dr. Wood did my surgery on Tuesday (11/28) and I came home Thursday evening (11/29). I am so happy, it is beyond words. Everyone at the hospital was wonderful, especially my nurses, Madonna and Sandra. I'd give Harper and A+. Jeannet, thank you for visiting me. It was good to have someone to talk too. And Kristie, I thank you for the emails, you were both Everything with the surgery went well and I am in no pain. The only problem I had was an allergic reaction to the medication in the epidural, (my skin was itching and on fire!!!). So they gave me the pain pump after removing the epidural. I don't know if the hard part is over, or if it has just begun, but, I wanted to thank all of you who wished me well, and to send out ((((((Hugs))))) because this website has been so helpful to me. My medications have me kinda but ok with me. It's cold outside. I'm sure I'll have many questions in the future but for right now I just wanted to send a big-ol Thanks!!! J/

Good to be home, ain't it? Follow the program. I itched after the epi for a while. Mine went away fast. I hope yours did. They gave me something for the nausea presurgery and that made me itch like crazy. They gave it to me on SX number 2 just for laughs. kp
