New Doc in town

Hi all, Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a new Dr. in OUR area (the U.P) his name is Wayne English, out of Marquette General Hospital. Very nice! Also very attentive to each individaul needs! So nice to see we don't have to travel 10 hrs to find a Dr. So I'll keep everyone updated on how it's going. Have a great day! "B"

Good news for the "Yoopers" - - you won't have to travel so far. Marquette Gen. Hospital has a great reputation. I was just in the U.P. over Thanksgiving (Newberry/Curtis area) - I have lots of family there and my mom was born in the U.P. It's so beatiful "up north" - - that was the first time in many years I've crossed the straits in the dark and have seen the bridge all lit up. We could see a freighter all lit up out on the lake too. I cut my own Christmas tree and brought it back home - - all in all it was a great trip, you live in a beautiful place!! Karen

I can't tell you how wonderful that is to hear. I hope Dr. English continues to be "very nice" and excellent. I had my surgery in Flint, but my roomie was from Saulte Ste. Marie...my gosh, what a mess that was. Her husband had to work, then he'd come back to visit, then he came to get her and she had that incredible ride home...it was very hard for her. She kept smiling, though, I was very proud of her! So this is a gift for all of you! Thank you for posting the information, it will give others a lot of hope and another choice! Lizzie B
