Everybody's doing it.....

Hi Janice, WOW! You look great! It's been a long time how are you. I hope all is well. When you're going through it (the approval process) it seems so long and drawn out. All the hurdle's that have to be climbed, all the flaming hoops to be jumped through etc. It can get so discouraging. It's no wonder people give up. I know if it were not for the encouragement I got from everyone here I would not be where I am today. I would have given up again, and very well could have been dead from an obesity related illness. Alas you all kept me encouraged for an entire year while I went through the "process". You all helped me to find out that I was a fighter. You helped give me the courage to stand up for myself, and my rights. For that I will be forever grateful. Thank you. May God bless you always, Love you, Annette

Hey Sue, Thank you. I miss you all. Can't wait to get back on the board. Brandee is trying. I don't know if she is having any luck with it, although with Brandee it's more skill than luck. Thank you for the anniversary wishes. The lord Is fulfilling my adventures so far, but I think He wanted me to slow down a bit Hence the last surgery, or maybe it was so Dr. Carlin could give me tips on skiing lol. What ever the case I'm feeling better, just wish I wasn't so darn tired all of the time. Oh well ~this too shall pass . Hope to talk to you soon. Love you. God bless you, Annette

Thank you Debra, I do feel pretty good these days. I am grateful for this surgery, my surgeon, medical team, and everyone who encouraged me along the way. I thank God everyday for being able to have this done. God bless you, Annette

Annette, You are an incredible person and I feel privileged to know you! What a ride you have had, a lifelong struggle, and come out on top!! We all have had a similar ride, but it's so nice to hear someone as nice as you doing so well now! Congratulations on all your accomplishments!! Yes, depression can get us every now and then...don't hesitate to talk to any of us, and of course a professional if the need be. We all have our moments! Take care and again, Congratulations!!! I have always looked up to you, and you have always been there for me with a bit of advice, encouragement, or just a kind word. Thank you for that and just for being you.
