Hi Reeta, I would talk to the doc that is prescribing them. If it is your surgeon, maybe they can put you on a tapering dose so you can be comfortable and then eventually stop taking them. The important thing is to talk to the doc now so the problem doesn't get worse. Best of luck to you, Brenda
