I finally got a call from the ministry of health saying that i was approved and that I'm to expect my approval letter via courier today or tomorrow.. and she said my Dr's office was already faxed a form!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Genaw is the surgeon.. You wanna hear something that's funny?? LOL.. when I got the news that I was approved.. i wanted to run out to Burger King.. LOL.. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I know I need help... but that was the first thing that came to mind.

Fast food is a hard habit to break. Believe it or not, i work for arby's . It is so hard to not eat the food. Everyone thinks deli meat is good for you, but you should see the grease on the slicer from the beef. Burger king was my favorite before surgery, now i can't even stomach the thought of it. The same with pizza. Anyway how long til you know your date? Did you ever find anyone to help you out? Hugs Linda

Hey y'all.. i havn't made my appmt. for my consultation yet. Dr. Genaw is doing my WLS. I'll be staying at HFH in Detroit Michigan.. to Answer the question from my friend above there.. Yes I got a friend to take to out to Detroit to have the surgery done and to take me back home. My parents or family still don't know I'm doing this and they won't know.. I don't want any negativity flowing my way in the least i heard that stress and all that crap can pro-long the healing process.. so They (my family) ain't gonna know untill a few months after I get the WLS done.

has anyone ever seen the inside of the hospitality apt's at HFH in Detroit? I wanna know what they are equipped with... i don't wanna be sitting in a room loking at four white walls.. LOL..
