BARIX/YPSI SUPPORT GROUP CHRISTMAS PARTY...

Barix Support Group Ypsilanti Michigan Saturday December 16, 2006 10:00 a.m. - ? We are once again planning to have a Holiday Gathering at our December meeting. Please plan to join us for a brief Support Group Meeting followed by a gift exchange and pot luck lunch. If you know of anyone who hasn't joined us for some time, please make sure they receive this invitation and know that they are welcome any time. If you have not participated in our December Holiday Gathering in the past, anyone who wish's to, may bring a wrapped gift, in the $10 - $15 range, appropriate for anyone (don't forget our guys!). To "exchange" gifts, everyone who has brought a gift draws a number and in that order, begin choosing gifts. As we progress, each person may choose a gift from the table, or "steal" one that has already been chosen, with the person who has given up their choice, either picking again from the table or from another person - take back that "stolen" item if you want! Once everyone has a gift in hand, a last chance to "bargain" with someone to trade is offered, and then we open those packages and find out what wonderful items we have received. This process often leads to much laughter and lots of good natured competition for certain packages - of course the bigger/heavier/prettier the package the more likely it is to get vied for. For the pot luck, we ask that you bring a Barix friendly dish to pass. We don't want to make anyone sick - please! Please bring your recipe to share. We have many very good cooks and I for one enjoy making your wonderful recipes for myself. We look forward to seeing everyone and can't wait to sample the good food and find out what special little gift that one of you brings for us.
