Hiya~ I'm in the Flint area and getting ready for surgery! I have a tentative date of Dec 20 -but it might be moved up from a fairly nasty and over active porceline gall bladder :( I had started this journey in 04 but was the victim of lay offs ( like so many others) so I had to wait to get insurance and do the whole year tracking again. However things seem to be going much better this time around and it's almost here! I look forward to talking with folks! jennifer

hi jennifer!! I had wls in july 19 2005 and started my journey at 310. I'm not at 161 - just had my abdominoplasty on October 27th 06 and am home recovering. This board is an amazing friendship finder, support group finder, and a place where people come together and bond as not only WLS sisters and brothers but where life long friendships are made. Hi Jennifer, I had lap RNY in March and they grabbed by gallbladder while they were in there. Nothing better than a two for one surgery! Best of luck to you, and Welcome! Brenda
