3 weeks post op & drainless 100 percent!!!!((SORRY-LONG POST)))
Today my fellow losers I met with my reconstructive surgeon, the world-renowned (ok, so I want to put him on a pedestal I will-those of you who have had his as your surgeon can vouch for it also!! he is remarkable!).....Dr. Vincent DiNick MD. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/bowdown.gif)

We are now DRAINLESS. oh wow thats a good - great feeling not to wander around feeling like i have a male body part bedangling between my legs!!! YAY!!! ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/jump.gif)
Second, he indicates I am healing better than scheduled, and doing quite nicely. I do not have to return to see him for 4 weeks. (![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/crying.gif)

WHATEVER WILL I DO WITH MYSELF???)
And at that time we will re-evaluate my desire/need/ability to return to work either part or full time. (My goal is to return to work full time by December 20th, so I may get our little holiday perks of double and triple time pay!) However, it was mutually agreed today that I am to let him know how I feel about returning part time (first, perhaps on a trial basis) and then swing into full time when I am ready. Now- most of my work is sitting...and I do some light lifting, so it isn't that I cannot return in 2 weeks, it's that I want to make DARN sure I am ready for that because I do often work alone at least 15 hours a week.
Also, my weight lifting restrictions remain at no more than 12 lbs (so, I can lift a brush to brush JUNIOR
and an apple to feed JUNIOR and also in 2 weeks I can walk with JUNIOR!
---No need to worry - I am never alone out at the farm and will always have my friend there so in case I need assistance it is available.
I weighed in last week at a hefty 170 lbs. due to the swelling. no doubt.
THE SWELLING IS indeed going down-big changes in the past 24 hours.
This week I weighed 164 fully clothed and 161 with a gown on....and I'm told, that I will drop another 20lbs in the next few weeks as the swelling goes down, perhaps more.
Overall, this is good news!!!!!! ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/cool2.gif)

Also, I wanted to mention to you folks out there who enjoy "ANY WHEY"...unflavored protein powder that I tried for the first time 2 weeks ago: Purchase it at Barix and you can get the 2.7 lb 60 serving cannister for 30.00 tax included!!!!!!!!! The smaller one is only 17.00. This goes great in coffee, oatmeal, etc., just not too hot of liquids, baked goods, baking, soups, chili, etc. I compared it to Unjury and I like the scent of ANY WHEY better- it has more of a VANILLA scent or a sweeter scent. 17 gms protein per scoop also.
So thanks for the support, I'll be home later today sometime and will catch up on the boards postings then.

That's great news, Stacey! Enjoy your time off....I'm sure Junior will be glad to see you.
I also use AnyWhey, but I have a hard time with the clumps. I mix it with Dannon Lite & Fit Smoothies and it's pretty easy to drink, except for looking like cottage cheese.
Hope the rest of your recovery goes as well as the first part.
