Hi Rose...I had my surgery done in grand rapids last month with Dr Foote. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to have this surgery done!!!!! He is fantastic!!!!!
So when is your surgery and with who?? Are you still in saginaw???
If you want to meet me somewhere to talk we can do that. Let me know!!

Congrats Billie! Sounds like you will be able to keep yourself busy until the 5th. I am impressed that you are almost done with your shopping. I am one of them last minute shoppers. I tried once to get ahead of the game but I forgot who I bought for and I think I am still finding gifts that I put away in special places(so I would not forget). LOL.
Your Dr. will have to go over your meds with you. I had to switch one med that was extended release, another went from capsule to a solutab, and my pain meds were given in liquid form. I also crushed mine for three months.
Have an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday. Best wishes for your surgery.

BILLIE...IF DR FOOTE IS DOING YOUR SURGERY YOU ARE IN THE BEST OF HANDS!!! YOU WILL BE ON A LIQUID DIET BEFORE AND AFTER SURGERY....YOU WILL FIND OUT WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT WHEN YOU SEE THE NUTRITIONIST BEFORE SURGERY. ( THE CHERRY JELLO IS GREAT!!!!)
I DO NOT REGRET HAVING THIS WLS AT ALL!!!! I HAVE A NEW LIFE TO LOOK FORWARD TO NOW!!!!

Congratulations Billie
This surgery is the best thing I ever did for myself. I had it done one year ago at Henry Ford Hospital Detoit wih Dr. A. Carlin. I have lost a total of 214 pounds from my highest weight of 378 pounds. I feel great and do things I never thought would be possible.
I started out having to either crush or dissolve my meds. Now I only have to take my vitamins, and I chew them. Best wishes to you as you continue your journey toward a life filled with health, and happiness.
God bless you,
Annette
