I feel like I am going crazy or being anxious....I often feel like a "pinch" or "pressure" in my chest (sometimes the middle of my breasts, or one side) and I worry it's my heart. Sometimes it occurs alittle after eating but other times without anything occurring. I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has experienced the same thing. FYI..I am 2 years post-surgery, my gastric doctor gave me prevacid to see if it is acid reflux. A cardiologist said my heart was ok. I feel like I am being silly, but these feelings scare me alittle. Thanks! Nancy

Yes I had that problem for the last two years and it sounds like Reflux or maybe a start of a ulcer. If the pain gets worse you might have a start of a obstruction to. Good luck Tricia

Nancy Please don't mess around with pain. Call your Dr. or go in. I came very near death last week because I didn't go in at the first sign of pain. My surgeon told me if we had waited one more day two at the very most to do surgery I wouldn't be alive today. Please at the very least make a phone call. It's better to error on the wrong side than to to do nothing and die. God bless you, Annette

Nancy, I had the same thing about 2 months ago and I am 3 years post op. I went to the ER and they gave me something in a IV and it helped. I was worried it was heart related as well and it wasn't. I had a Cat Scan thinking it was my "gallbadder" and they ran alot of blood and everything came back normal. MY final diagnosis was gastritis. I have never had such sudden pain in my life, I broke out in a cold sweat and couln't get to the ER fast enough. So far...I have been ok and I hope it never happens again. Best of luck Robin
