Brenda, Sorry to hear that you are feeling so poorly, but glad you are home and all went well. Hope you have a speedy recovery and the vomitting goes away soon. Take care and walk, sip and rest.... Shawn M.

Oh boy - well first and foremost - welcome to the losing side!!! And WELCOME HOME! I didnt have any vomiting straight out of surgery ... so I'm not sure what to tell you there. My problem started when I went to pureed foods a few weeks later. Hang in there, keep checking with your doc, and take TINY sips. Sugar free popsicles were my best friend right out of surgery (mine was May 8th). Okay, well technically I think the liquid Lortab was my best friend....but the popsicles were a close 2nd !!!! Where did you have your surgery done??? I hope you're feeling better by the time you read this Hugs Sydney

Hi Brenda -- Hope you are feeling better today, if not, you need to call your doctor. You need to be able to keep fluids down for your recovery.

Brenda, welcome to the losing side. I think you need to contact your surgeon and let him know of the troubles you're having. You need to start getting the protein and water in so you can heal. Please call your doctor.

Brenda, the first few days are truely hard and everyday will be better than the last. Just be strong and you will get through this. I had lapropsocpy and it only took a few days to get back to normal. I am betting you are feeling better already. Take care, Janice
