I need to go shopping

I dont like knowing that the band doesn't have any saline in it, now I feel hungry....hmmmmm I need to go to the store and get stuff to make shakes, I need substance. Am I doing the right thing? I do need the protein to make me feel full, this is weird.....I had a thought that they didn't put a band in there LOL joking...it has to be in there right? Maybe I just feel to darn good.........

LOL, I've had that same thought - - that they didn't really do the surgery on me, just made scars! Of course I don't really believe that, but I've had so little trouble and everything about my recovery and life since surgery has gone so well that it's sometimes hard to believe that anything is different about my insides. I had RNY (not lab-band) so I don't know how to advise you about eating except to say to follow your surgeon's directions. I'm glad you feel so good!! Karen

They don't put saline in it right at surgery? When do they? You're right, load up on protein and water, that should help....also, try to stay busy, if you are able to. Linda
