Downriver Support Group!!!!

Mark your calendars for this Thursday, Nov. 16th for our monthly get together! Any one new who'd like to join us is very welcome . I'll definatly have to let my mom know if she's off that day she was just telling me she wished we had a "support group" where we're from (in monroe) It's not too very far from Southland. Maybe we'll get to see you there!! *hugs*

O that sounds great!! I would love it if there was a support group nearish me. I am new to the area and we are a 1 car family(weird I know),,,so that limits me. I wonder how many of us are in the Monroe area?

Hi Melanie! I'm not super familiar with Monroe, but why don't you try to think of a mid-cost restaurant in the area, think of a date and time that works for you, then post it...see if there are others (and I know there are) in your area who are interested in meeting with you for a "first time get together" . Then from the responses you get, you can all meet and decide if there's a better time to do on a regular basis, or if the time you've picked works well enough for the majority...whatever. I promise you, you will get responses and there are people in Monroe who feel the same way you do. Give it a try, you don't have to be "the leader", there doesn't have to be a leader, just someone who will commit to posting the meetings a week or so before, and then a day or so before...you can do it!!!
