Are there any other people out there and treat yourself every once in awhile with a regular piece of candy just to take off the edge, or a small bag of regular potato chips just to cure that craving? I notice that I have been doing it and it helps alot. Suzanne

I find the S/F stuff pretty good and the gas it gives me makes the joy last well into the night!!! Some of the Werthers products are great and DQ makes a NSA dilly bar. I don't want to test the waters. The snake bites hard. kp

I'm chicken to try sugar, don't want to dump or discover I don't. So far, my sweet tooth is more than dealt with by endless protein shakes. I did discover the occasional joy of Cheetos, but then I found soy chips and Trader Joe's baked lower fat cheese thingies. Check back with me in a year or two, let's see if I still remember the misery of surgery and avoid the evils.

Just three words..."DON'T DO IT!" No, actually, do as you wish. I just tested the waters a little too much and have come to tolerate many things I shouldn't. Then, away you go if you're not careful. So...be careful!!! Theresa

I am guilty as well - I have to get rid of the Halloween candy!!!!!!! At least I can't eat much at a time. But, I like a small treat every now and again. Usually I just take a bite of my hubby's or kid's treats. That way I won't be tempted to overdo it. I do eat chips once in awhile, too. Just try to grab a few and then get away from the bag! LOL! As with any program - you can't totally deny yourself of all things sweet and salty or you will want them even more. (in my case anyway-just think how many times in the past I had tried to cut out sweets, etc - it doesn't work). Everything in moderation! Teri

I haven't tested the sugar-waters yet - - I still have the fear and I'm hoping to keep it. I have, however, let no-sugar-added ice cream find it's way into my freezer. Yum.

I agree w/ Theresa! I think you're better off without it. One of my biggest downfalls is pretzels or the carmel rice cakes. Bad, bad, bad. I've even gotten into the halloween candy - so not worth it. I don't think it helps me, it just makes me want more of it.
