Treating ourselves?
I'm chicken to try sugar, don't want to dump or discover I don't. So far, my sweet tooth is more than dealt with by endless protein shakes. I did discover the occasional joy of Cheetos, but then I found soy chips and Trader Joe's baked lower fat cheese thingies. Check back with me in a year or two, let's see if I still remember the misery of surgery and avoid the evils.
I am guilty as well - I have to get rid of the Halloween candy!!!!!!! At least I can't eat much at a time. But, I like a small treat every now and again. Usually I just take a bite of my hubby's or kid's treats. That way I won't be tempted to overdo it. I do eat chips once in awhile, too. Just try to grab a few and then get away from the bag! LOL!
As with any program - you can't totally deny yourself of all things sweet and salty or you will want them even more. (in my case anyway-just think how many times in the past I had tried to cut out sweets, etc - it doesn't work). Everything in moderation!
