THANK YOU ALL
I have my date November29th
I am scared silly
I have read that you sometimes have BM problems after the surgery?
I also was told that things like GERD,HEARTBURN,REFLUX GO AWAY!!!
is this true. I always have stomach troubles and I am hoping they are gone.
What aboout timing will I feel better to be ready for Christmas???
do you feel like crap for a long time ??
how long before you can eat a small dish of real food??
sorry for all the questions but I am so happy to find you all. It seemed no one knew what a micro pouch was!!!
Frankie
Yeah everyone thinks it is the same size as the regular pouch but it is not. Alot of people have problems but it is just your system trying to work out what you have done to it and the new way you are eating. Yeah your heatburn, etc should go away. Depends on how you are from anesthia(sp). Some people take a long time getting it our of your system. You will only be three weeks out so I would not expect to feel really peppie. You will tire out really easy. Sleep, pain meds and walking will be your best friend for a little while. You will be given an eating chart and your Dr will let you know when you can start on what foods. No you won't feel like crap all the time. There will be times you feel awesome, you go do somethings and then BAM you feel like crap because you did to much! Take care and yell whenever you feel stressed or just want to talk.

Of course you're scared. It's normal
I **** like a race horse. Sorry. A little graphic but Stacey will like it.
That is if I'm not on vicodin.
No stomach problems here.
How you feel is up to you. A lot of it is attitude. I felt pretty good at about three weeks.
Eating is up to you. I eat by content not quantity. 20 oz of protein mandatory 4 times a day.
They also have a micro pooch- where they sew a small dog to your cheek and it snatches the food off your fork before you can get it into your mouth.
