Since I work full time I never have had the opportunity to watch Oprah and my life still is ok but I have to agree with Kevin about much of what he says. ESPECIALLY on the whole Madonna adoption thing. There are plenty of kids right here in the good ole' USA who need to be adopted.

who are these others? Boy, October and War are bonafide classics. Bonofide? Maybe, there's a bit of a resemblence to earlier Echo and the Bunnymen but at one time U2 were truly original. They have gotten old and stodgy and started ripping off their own sound around the time of their 4th album but you can't take those first three away from them. Boy is one of the most unique and exquisite albums every released, it'***** and psychedelic at the same time. It set the standard for what was to come. So many bands ripped THEM off. even new bands today like Angels and Airwaves completely owe their sound to U2. now i suppose if you were to say he rode the Edge's success, you'd have an argument but would the Edge have been succesful without Bono as a front man? Probably not. besides, you listen to Nugent. SHADDUP. case closed.
