Hi Kathryn, Yes, I've had trouble with RLS both pre op and post op. It was especially bad when I had the surgery and I stopped the med that I take for it. One thing that can help is to make sure you're ferritin level (that's and iron storing protein) is somewhere between 50 and 100 mg/dl. That cures some people but not others. Jeanne

Congrats on being a loser now.... My doctor told me I wasn't to sleep in a lay-z-boy at all after surgery..... But that is my favorite seat in the house... LOL.... Don't know what to tell you about the leg thing, I deal with it already, but not too bad. I do know that iron does play a role in restless sleeping though. Best of luck to you for a speedy recovery. I'm a little upset at Cori today, My appointment was at 1 and they called and told me to come in at 3... without any other ride my boyfriend who has had to call off work before for my surgery stuff is probably going to get fired.. bleh...
