Hello all My first post op visit from my abdominoplasty with Dr. Vincent DiNick MD was today. All looks swell and he removed 1 jp drain tube which felt kinda funny. I'm healing well and right on schedule. No more bandages, no more tape, he removed them all and told me to wear a cotton t shirt tucked inside the garment. We went to KMart to get them, and odd enough, picked up Mediums, and THEY FIT!!!!! I have been able now to slowly dress myself very carefully, and work with the binders (compression garment and the white binder) and the 3 drain tubes. Did I mention in my previous posts I had 4 drain tubes total? Wow. Now we are down to 3. Dr DiNick seems to indicate with me following his rules (which I AM!!) that the other 3 tubes/drains may be removed next week at my next post op. The 2nd post op is Nov 11 at 8am. I'll post those results. I have felt better today though this week endured some nausea (which we figured out what it was and fixed it and Dr. DiNick approved of what we did) however am doing well and feeling pretty good being slightly leaning to independecy. Spending the evening overnight with my pal Just_Jane (myself & my Mom) and then returning to home tomorrow. I'm pretty pleased with my progress as is Dr DiNick, and my treat tonight, was dinner -- I had Filet Mignon!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS MOM!! hugs all and thanks for you ongoing care, calls, emails and support! Stacey W 1 week post op abdominoplasty weight unknown because I'm so swollen I'm preparing for the MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE!!!!!!!!!
