Yaaaaaay, Exciting!

I had consults today at Bloomfield Bariatrics, first with Jackie, then with Dr. Hares himself; it was a matinee of medical eval! Anyway, they have a patient who got Cigna to approve her DS this year; so Dr. Hares' office is gonna help me fight my insurance company and prove that the DS is medically necessary for me, and that it's just as proven as RNY! The best part is that they also gave me a tenative date! We don't actually expect it to take place then, because the insurance company will most likely deny me and we'll have to appeal, but tenatively, I'm scheduled for December 4! Now I've got to get to work on all of the pre-op testing. I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but if insurance covers this and I don't have to self-pay, it'll be the best gift I'll have ever received. Please please PLEASE pray/wish/send good vibes for me!!!
