Next!!!

As I posted before, I had my psych eval last tuesday. The Dr said to wait 2 weeks and then if I don't hear anything to call HAP. Well I got a call this morning from Chantel, to make an appt for the next step. I said, well if I am going on to this step then that means I passed my eval? she said I did, and I told her I hadn't heard. She said well it got to her before me. Soooooooooooooooo I am on to the next step. This is an imformation meeting, with my support by my side. But wow, m appointment isn't until Dec 19th. Busy busy busy place. On a sad note though today.....we had to put our family dog down, he had cancer and was getting worse and worse. Wasn't eating, hard time swallowing and sleeping ALL the time....was also running a fever. I don't like to see dogs suffer. but he is in a good place now. I know this. Hugs all

So happy your going to your next step. I remember the steps well. Before you know it you will be posting that you have a date. So sorry to hear about your dog. But like you said he is in a better place and no pain. Hugs Debbie M

Ditto to Debbie's post....sorry about your dog...it's hard to lose a pet, but as you know, at least he's not suffering now. I have a cat and he's 20 years old! He's slowed quite a bit now and he does throw up more often....doesn't eat as much. He's very thin, but he always has been. I have had him to the vet of course, and they checked for worms, did blood work, etc. just to see how he's doing at his age, but they said he's really in good shape for his age. At the time I took him, he had a tumor about the size of a quarter on his back, and they felt it was a fatty tumor and nothing to worry about, but now it's been another year and it's about the size of a large egg! Doesn't seem to bother him unless I try to feel it and he meows. I think I'll be taking him in again...Just worried though if he has to go under an anethstetic, he may not wake up, at his age. We'll see what they say.... Anyway, wow, I got way off track! Congratulations on going to your next step! I remember each of the steps you hit and you just can't wait to get there! But it will come and before you know it you will be a svelt, healthy woman! Best of luck and I hope it goes quickly for you! Theresa
