finding low cost surgery in mi

I was wondering if anyone nows how you could get surgery without insurence? if there is a facility that will accept anyone ? am still checking into insurence but it will take such a long time to get it ...I just dont want to wait that long ..this is somthing I have been checking on for so long and am determined to have the surgery !!! can anyone help ..thanks Sherry

Sherry: Your best bet is to check with your surgeon's office of choice. Or call around to different doctors in your area. Most will do the surgery for self-pay patients. Also ask if they'll give you the same rate that insurance companies have negotiated rather than the standard rate. Expect a figure ranging between $15,000 to about $35,000. Good luck! Pam
